Nepal
An impromptu trip to the land of the Himalayas left an everlasting impression on me and made me think twice about what I had in mind and what was in store for me in the New Year. Though the trip was short and rather cramped for one to truly take into account the expansive nature of the country I thoroughly enjoyed the 4 odd days walking around the streets of Kathmandu and Pokhara, be it drooling over the beautiful trekking gear shops or the expansive and breathtaking views of the Annapurna Range or just admiring the sophisticated and delicate local brick and wood architecture along the numerous small trails that ran through Kathmandu which reminded me a bit of Purani Dilli and its streets. I would love to go back to this country soon as there is much to explore and see beyond the odd touristy locations one goes to at first glance. I packed as light as I could this time and shot the following pictures on a Nikon D750 using a Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8d lens. I used a Joby gorilla pod wherever I wanted additional stability for a shot.
