The land of endless discoveries - Ladakh - लद्दाख़ - ལ་དྭག

Amongst the hustle and bustle of endless tourists, some new, some old yet mesmerized like they were there for the first time lies a dramatically barren landscape with a striking blue backdrop leaving one in awe before pressing the trigger to freeze the moment they saw heaven. 
I shot the following pictures on a five day trip to my favorite destination Ladakh. The pictures were taken primarily using a Nikon 24mm f/2.8d and 28-80mm f3.5-5.6 lens mounted on a Nikon D750. I used a Benro IT15 travel tripod and a Manfrotto monopod invariably for some stability while taking panoramas, HDR shots or some long night exposures. I shot a lot of the landscapes in black and white this time as I just felt they seem balanced and justified the beauty of the place. The pictures have not been edited much except for the HDR's and panoramic shots that have been treated in Lightroom and Photoshop CC.
